What is mallgaier.com?

Well, mallgaier.com specifically is just a landing page, but the mallgaier.com domain is the home to two individual websites. This is why it the only content on that page were two cards for Sam and Matthew Allgaier. Sam and Matthew are brothers, and decided to share this domain between the two of them.

Why share the domain?

Sam saw the idea to get an email where the @ would just replace one of the a's in his name and thought, "Hey, there's an a in my name. . . I should do that!" He decided to register the domain mallgaier.com so he could use the email S@mAllgaier.com.

Sam realized that the mallgaier.com domain would work well as a website for his younger brother Matthew, so he planned to share the domain with him to make better use of it.

Fortunately, Sam could still use the domain his email was tied to for himself as well by using the sa subdomain; hence Sa.mAllgaier.com

So what's the purpose of the website?

The website is mainly just to act as another fun project to work on for Sam and Matthew, as well as a nice place to display other projects and things they have done.

And besides, what's the use of buying a domain for an email if you're not even going to put a website on it!
